About Ksenia
Happy to see you here! My name is Ksenia, I have been practicing yoga for 13 years, and teaching over the last 8 years. I do in-person private and group yoga classes in Vancouver, and organize skype consultations supporting my clients in developing their individual practice. My classes are accessible for very beginners and could help you with back pain, muscle stiffness and weakness, stress, fatigue, depression and other neurological disorders, high blood pressure, asthma, and reproductive system issues.
Yoga is not about how perfectly you can perform the posture. If you think you are not flexible or strong, these are the reasons to start, but not to avoid yoga. The main principles of my classes are safety, accessibility, and efficiency. Sometimes, yoga practitioners pay a lot of attention to spirituality, completely forgetting about the physical body and mental health, awareness, and trauma prevention. I don't think this is the right path. I always focus on my clients' needs and their current physical and mental state. The integration of an individual approach even into group format classes is a must for me. I believe that particular yoga practice suits you only if you feel great even after your first class.
